Judy M. Chelnick

Judy M. Chelnick is the retired curator of Medicine and Dentistry, Smithsonian Institution Division of Medicine and Science National Museum of American History. She has forty years experience working in museums. Prior to her appointment at the Smithsonian Institution she was the Assistant Curator at the Dittrick Medical History Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She has curated exhibitions on medical history and is the author of the article Collecting Medical Technology at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History in the 2013 publication, Medical Museums: Past, Present and Future.
